Lemonade with Straws from WikiCommons
I am throwing a lot of ideas at the wall right now to see what sticks. What I am finding is that most of my traffic arrives at my main site, www.margotpotter.com. We've decided to put this on hold for now and to focus on the big brand and also our site Your Grandmother's Crafts where we'll soon be selling vintage and vintage inspired craft supplies and sharing lots of retrofabulosity!
It's mostly a how many hands and how many hours proposition.
This site, Craft. You., really is the core of who I am and what I want people to take away from my message. I don't care if you never string a bead or make a card or paint a canvas, what I want is to inspire you, gentle reader, to break out of the shackles of who you think the world wants you to be and to become you in the fullest and most glorious expression of who you truly are. Every aspect of our lives involves creativity and if I can help others to embrace that creative spirit and move beyond their comfort zones in some small way, that is the stuff that makes me happy.
So give yourself a little hug for me today and remember that opening our hearts to love begins with loving ourselves enough to feel worthy of the love of others. You are an amazing, beautiful, one of a kind creation and don't you forget it.

ReplyDeleteI am the happiest I have been in years, last year was misery and it's a lot of work rebooting and fine tuning, but I'm doing fine! I guess sometimes people read between the lines. I'm good! I just am no longer allowing other people to drag me down.
Abuse is not okay with me in any form anymore!
